How To Style: Summer Whites

Vest: Stitch Fix (Similar here) // Tee: Uniqlo  // Sandals: Madden Girl // Jeans: Old Navy // Necklace: J.Crew Factory // Clutch: J.Crew Factory (Similar here)

I'm a practical girl. To be honest, I've always thought of vests as kind of useless. Then I came across this black one in a street style photograph. The girl was wearing it as a dress! I'll probably try that too, but I can't tell you how much I loved using it as a break- up for my summer whites.

Here's How I Styled it:

THE VEST: The true unsung hero. Without this vest the outfit just wouldn't be what it is. An all white outfit can get kind of boring, this vest adds some interest; it creates a laid back and effortless look w/ a cool factor.

THE TEE: My fave, from uniqlo. I own two of these, but I probably need three. It's super cool and easy like the rest of the look, but can be dressed up or down, which I love.

THE DENIM: Believe it or not these are my first pair of white denim jeans. They were a steal at old navy & a must for every summer wardrobe.

THE SANDALS: You know I can't complete an outfit without a pop of color. But THESE SANDALS, man I love them. They have the perfect blocked heel (remember what I said about being practical?), and are a flawless shade of red.

THE CLUTCH: I love using metallics in my outfits because they aren't a boring old black and white but a much funner version of a neutral. This gold clutch is an essential. As for the look, paired of the heels, it's made for  a casual night out.
